I wanted to know how is this gerstaecker watercolor set. ARe they good or student grade?
Gerstaecker is a onlineshop for artist supplies and materials. I buy many things here. Watercolors from different brands.
this are Studiograde Aquarellcolor, I do not use.

ARe they good artist grade paints? I actually wanted an affordable artist grade. Would you recommend any from Germany?
Good german artist grade watercolor (manufactured in Germany) are Schmincke Horadam and Kremer. Outside the EU they are not so affordable.
Lukas was sold to Fila, than Dealer Rowney and were now produced in the UK. My Lukas watercolor are all old and from Germany.
Other major companies discontinued the artist line watercolors (Pelikan, Faber, Marabu, Kreul, Vang . . . . swiss Caran d'Ache . . . . )
affordable(not german) are Aquarius Roman Szmal (still), White Nights (how long?)
